About Us
Clark’s Produce Farm is a family-owned operation rooted in generations of agricultural tradition and community commitment. The farm’s story dates back to around 1958, when Johnny Clark made the pivotal decision to transition from tobacco farming to growing fresh produce—laying the foundation for what Clark’s Produce is today.
Since that time, the family has continued to cultivate produce on a seasonal, small-scale basis, maintaining a hands-on approach and a deep respect for the land. Today, George Clark proudly carries on the legacy as a fourth-generation farmer, continuing the family’s dedication to quality, sustainability, and service.
Clark’s Produce Farm grows a variety of fresh vegetables, including strawberries, squash, zucchini, okra, cucumbers, tomatoes, field peas, watermelon, cantaloupe, collards, turnips, mustard greens, and kale. Each crop is grown with care to ensure freshness and nutritional value for the community.
More than just a farm, Clark’s Produce is committed to strengthening the local food system. The farm actively works to provide healthy food choices while fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Through partnerships with nonprofits, food hubs, churches, grocery outlets, and farmers markets, Clark’s Produce Farm strives to make fresh, locally grown food accessible to all.
With a strong foundation in tradition and a forward-looking vision, Clark’s Produce Farm remains dedicated to serving the community for generations to come.
