Red Beard Farms

Morgan Milne opened Red Beard Farms in 2011 in Castle Hayne. A Carolina Beach native, Morgan Milne graduated from NC State with a degree in horticulture where his interest in farming and permaculture came to fruition. “I spent a lot of time in the arboretum at college and became fascinated with the variety of plants,” he said. The farm moved to Willard in 2014. Red Beard Farms has 7 acres of fields and 9 acres of woods. Morgan grows vegetables and mushrooms.
